Well, it's my first day as a Deviant. I've submitted a couple pieces of work that I've done, well... today. They're my first actual attempts at creating anything worth anything, so I hope that everyone notices that I'm only starting out. I do love criticism, though (as long as it's constructive). Still getting used to everything. Feel free to drop a comment!

Hey, Kenny! So how was the trip to Chicago? :D
Oh goodness! Sorry I haven't really been on. Spring Break is here, so I've been out quite often.
But Chicago was an incredible experience! I loved the bus ride (I was on the quieter bus and had an entire row to myself!), the food (Chicago-style pizza, buffets, etc.), and just everything!
We earned all gold ratings at both the Heritage Festival and at Orchestra Hall. The acoustics at Orchestra Hall were breathtaking; I was baffled by them even as I was singing. The sound was so live and everything blended incredibly!
I also got to walk around Chicago for a little bit, which was nice. I visited a cool little music shop and walked around Millennium Park (a park with a lot of outdoor modern art).
The hotel was beautiful. Who can complain about an Olympic-sized swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna?! Not to mention the room service was awesome and the beds were extremely comfortable. Oh, and we had a beautiful view of the Chicago skyline from our room.
Gah, it sure was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait for next year. We think we're going back to Carnegie Hall. New York City, here we come! :3
That's fine! I've just been curious about your endeavors in Chicago :D So you've been living like a rock star, you could say. Hehehe! Sounds like an AMAZING experience. And wow! Congratulations on the fantastic ratings! I'm sure you were a fantastic choir. Do you think you could post some photos if you've taken any on the trip/in Chicago (either here or on Facebook)? Would be so cool to see them! But you don't have to, if you don't want to :3

I've had a fantastic experience myself here in chilly Sweden (we're about to get some sunlight soon, I hope!)! Got to see Glasvegas (one of my favorite bands from Scottland) here in a record shop in Gothenburg. They played three (even though they had only agreed on playing two at the beginning) of their songs acoustically and after that it was time for them to sign their new (second) album EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\. I don't know if you've heard about them before, but I think you should. Not sure if they're your type of music - but they're good nonetheless. And I got my album signed and I got to speak a little with each band member and shake their hands. Asked for a hug from James Allan (the lead singer) and got a hug and a kiss on my cheek (I'm such a girl, sometimes, I know xD). Me and my friends were at the front of the crowd and got a great view! Unfortunately I didn't think we were allowed to have professional digital cameras with us, so I only brought my iPhone with me (it turned out that you were allowed, cause there were several other people who had brought their camera with them). I got some good shots, but a few of them got blurry. The worst part, I think, was that I couldn't take any videos. But at least I got the experience :) Can't wait til' the summer is here, when I get to see them play again! I'll also be seeing Coldplay and Bright Eyes (and more artists!).
I've sent some pictures and a video of my experiences! :)

That is so awesome to hear! I've never heard of them, but I will be sure to check them out! I'll let you know what I think of them. :)
And your summer show will be a lot of fun as well, it seems! I don't go to many shows, but I usually have a pretty good time when I do. :D
